Visit USA Australia Travel Networking Event with special guest Dean Long

Sydney, 22 February 2024 – Visit USA Australia hosted the who’s who of the Australia / USA Travel Industry in Sydney on Wednesday afternoon at their annual Travel Networking Event. The Event, held at The Fullerton Hotel ahead of the Visit USA Sydney Expo, was a social affair with more than 75 industry colleagues coming together to celebrate the growth in visitors to the USA in 2023.

Caroline Davidson, President of Visit USA Australia, said, “The speed at which travel to the USA has rebounded pleasantly surprised us all. Australian travellers to the USA in 2023 exceeded the NTTO forecast by 10% with 935, 000 visitors and had the 4th largest percentage increase in the top ten markets.”

“The demand is evident, and it is with thanks to the people here with us today. Destinations, suppliers, travel media – we are stronger together and the result speaks for itself.” continued Caroline Davidson.

Special guest, Dean Long, CEO of ATIA praised the work of Visit USA Australia and their Members for their work in championing, educating and supporting Australian travel businesses.
