New York, NY – October 21, 2025 – The 2025 Holiday Season is kicking off at Rockefeller Center with brand-new ways to celebrate. This year, visitors can get up close to the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree with their Top of the Rock ticket, unlocking a private viewing area directly beneath its branches. And, new this year, “Meet The Tree” featuring FAO Schwarz and Peanuts® to welcome the most famous Christmas tree as it is set up at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Saturday, November 8th.
● This season’s Holiday Top of the Rock ticket includes exclusive, close-up access directly under the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. This offer will unlock a special viewing area featuring a photo opportunity with the tree—before ascending to Top of the Rock observation deck for breathtaking skyline views. Guests who purchase a General Admission ticket, All-In Pass, or Express Pass between December 4 and January 10 at rockefellercenter.com or at the Top of the Rock box office will enjoy this limited-time holiday experience. ● For a reimagined annual tradition, families are invited to meet the world’s most famous Christmas tree when it is set up Saturday, November 8th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST. All of Rockefeller Center’s campus will be celebrating the tree’s arrival from Top of the Rock observation deck to Under 30 Rock. At the Meet the Tree Holiday Workshop families can enjoy a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the beloved holiday classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas, with a Peanuts® coloring station, Make-Your-Own Snoopy Station from Build-A-Bear featuring Snoopy with Flappy Ears, letters to Santa, and more. Snoopy will be one of the special guests of the day for photo moments at Top of the Rock and Rockefeller Plaza. This event is free to the public, sign up in advance here. Those with a Top of the Rock ticket on Meet the Tree day can skip the line to enter the Holiday Workshop. The Holiday Workshop is located at Rockefeller Plaza (located between 48th and 49th Streets, between 5th and 6th Avenues)
● The Rink at Rockefeller Center Presented by Chase Freedom – Skate on the world-famous Rink at Rockefeller Center. General Skate includes a 60-minute session on the ice. New this year, the revamped VIP Skate experience gets visitors priority entry to the Rink and access to the new heated lounge with warm beverages and complimentary skate rentals.
● Après Skate Chalets Presented by Balsam Hill – New for this year, the private chalets overlooking the Rink and Christmas Tree include Top of the Rock tickets for a full
day of holiday activities. The custom menu from 5 Acres features favorite holiday treats. Prices for the chalets start at $190 for reservations in November.
● VIP Rock Pass: Holiday Edition – Discover Rockefeller Center through a guided experience celebrating its art, history, and holiday spirit. Highlights include Tree viewing, VIP entry to Top of the Rock, SKYLIFT and The Beam, and special holiday perks like a champagne toast, and a visit to a secret rooftop garden with panoramic city views.
● Santa Photo Pass – This holiday, take your experience to new heights with Santa in the sky at Top of the Rock. Meet Santa on The Beam, high above the city and capture unforgettable photos overlooking New York City’s skyline.
