Visit Big Sky

Big Sky, Montana is nestled in the Madison range in Southwest Montana.  Our small mountain town is located 50 miles South of Bozeman, Montana and 51 miles North of West Yellowstone and the west gate to Yellowstone National Park.   Big Sky is most notable for the incredible ski and snowboarding terrain at Big Sky Resort and summer downhill mountain biking. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Our town is a playground of outdoor pursuits. Those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city-life will love our town's quiet and slow pace. But don't get us wrong. We also know how to have a good time. Big Sky hosts amazing events throughout the year from the Wildlands Music Festival to the Best in the West Skijoring Showdown.
