Description: Intrepid Travel North Americasmall group camping…Sometimes we camp at official campsites and other times you’ll be pitching your tent in remote locations. Our tents are slightly larger than the average two-person tent and come with insulation mats, ground sheets and rain and sun shelter. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag and a travel pillow. For those travelling solo, you’ll be paired up to share with someone of the same gender. Facilities can differ, so you’ll need to be ready to rough it occasionally.small group lodging…If you want to see the real North America but would prefer to not sleep in the great outdoors, then our lodging options are for you. Here, you’ll stay in lodges, hotels, motels, rustic cabins and hostels. Accommodation will be comfortable but multishare and  basic, and you’ll still need to bring a sleeping bag along.small group hotels…If you’re after a touch more comfort, with a hot shower and comfortable bed at the end of the day, then our hotel option is for you. Staying in hotels, you’ll mostly sleep in twin-share accommodation, but with this style of travel all you need to bring along is your sense of adventure.our vans…Intrepid operates a large fleet of specially equipped vans that have been designed for tough conditions and long hours on the road. The vehicles all come with seatbelts and are built to be self-sufficient. Everything you need for your adventure is included, right down to a CD player and air-conditioning. Our dedicated mechanics make sure the vans are always in top-working condition and are well-maintained, ready for your adventures throughout North America. The vans are regularly serviced in our maintenance facility and are continuously checked by a well established network of maintenance and service facilities throughout the continent.
